Relax after a hard day’s wine touring

Set in the rolling vineyards around St Emilion, Château Latour Segur is an historical château and boutique hotel with its own professional intimate spa. Wine touring can be tiring so it is wonderful at the end of the day to be able to unwind in a spa built into the very limestone that the area is famous for. The medieval village of St Emilion with its cobble-stoned streets, is ten minutes away with its famous wine châteaux and restaurants.

The building itself that dates back to the 12th century and was built by the wellknown nobleman in the area, the Count of Segur. It has been a labour of love by Corinne and André who fell in love and acquired the property in 2008, to restore this important historical château to its former glory.

This ‘natural’ spa is complete with heated pool set in an ampitheatre, hammam and massage rooms, and other beauty treatments. It is possible to complete a detox programme with light cuisine and yoga over several days.

The park of the château with its splendid lakes is open for you to roam with its chickens, dogs, donkeys and ducks which gives the setting a homely feel. Each of its modern luxurious rooms has its own private outdoor space in the park of the château.
