A new wine application home-grown in Bordeaux to challenge existing Danish Vinvino is on the verge of being born. Its difference is its rich information database sourced directly from the producers themselves (rather than relying on consumers to nourish it as with Vivino).
Taking a photo of the label with your smartphone is the key to tapping into the information base of over 100 categories including grape varieties, new oak used, when best drink, with what, but also where to buy enabling you to share tasting notes and views of the wine, to buy it and to manage your cellar.
Developed by Kasual Business who created Smart Bordeaux for the CIVB (8000 wine châteaux uniquely in Bordeaux).
Available on Android in February and at the end of the year via Apple.
